[Cloud Users] How to change your PHP version - HostMaria.com

This is a short video demonstration video with comments (for all our Cloud hosting users) on the topic: How to #change your #PHP version at your #stackcp dashboard.

1. Log in you #StackCP dashboard
2. Find section "Web Tools" and click on "Change PHP Version"
3. Select the PHP version you would like to update to and click on the button "Change PHP Version"
4. Check your website - if it doesn't load, switch back to the previous PHP version

You are done :)

Please note:

• It is always risky to upgrade as your website might contain code that the new php version will not be compatible with;
• PHP issues are usually related to old code;
• If you have custom handlers in your htaccess, changing these settings can overwrite them or opposite;
• Please, invest few minutes in creating a backups for both files and databases before doing tasks like these.
