Installing VirtualBox and VirtualBox Extension Pack on MacOS is as simple as issuing just 2 commands on the terminal command line. I assume you have Homebrew (The missing package manager for macOS). Homebrew is officially supported on macOS Catalina, Big Sur and Monterey.
