Dread is the only Clive Barker story and movie that doesn't have fantasy or supernatural elements. It's a killer-on-the-loose kind of story that deals with college students making a film about dread. Through interviews, they find out what scares people. One of the students takes it too far and forces a vegetarian to eat rotting meat in the film's most memorable scene.
