A Denial of Service (DoS) is a type of widespread cyber attack on a target server or website in the network that disrupts its normal function and stops other users from accessing it. This dangerous attack often occurs by overwhelming target machines' resources or network connections. The attack almost floods the service with so much traffic or data that no one can use until the attacker's malicious flow stops.
