Applying to 1000 Software Engineering Jobs with One Click // 5 python projects in 5 days (ep. 5)

Ever sit at your desk for hours, clicking through endless job listings hoping to strike gold with one response? Well, when I was in college, many of my fall semester nights were spent applying to 100s of jobs manually. 😴

A few months ago, I made a script, what I called CommonIntern, which would take in a list of job URLs and automatically apply to potentially 100s of jobs with the click of a button. This was great, but there was one problem — the process of aggregating those links is painstaking. So, I wanted to automate that as well in today’s scripting project. With this app, we can scrape the entire job search results page on Glassdoor, aggregate all the job application URLs, and feed them into the CommonIntern bot to apply to! ✨
