Using DragonDictate with OSX Mail
David Allen
While using DragonDictate with OS X Mail I found some of the commands to be a little bit hit and miss. So it is a little bit annoying when you say an application command and nothing happens, especially when other times it works just fine.
The main thing though is that DragonDictate does what it is meant to do regards dictation. It is being able to convert speech into text that is the important thing. DragonDictate version 3 for Mac really does do a very good job of getting your words onto the page effectively and accurately.
What I would suggest is that you try out controlling your OS X mail application using DragonDictate to see what works. Start learning the application commands that function properly and use them alongside the dictation.
