Before you begin tracing your bitmap image, open the image in Affinity Designer V2 by going to File - Open and then selecting the image you would like to vectorize. Once the image has been imported, you’re ready to begin tracing.
When the tracing is finished, you’ll get a vectorized version of your bitmap image. You can now modify the colors, shapes, and other elements of the image as you wish. To do this, select the Node Tool from the Tools Panel and then click and drag the different parts of the image to modify it.
