LPIC 1 - 075 - 109.3 (2/2) - Basic Network Troubleshooting; checking connections and data flow
Jadi
In this module, we are checking our network and seeing how we might be able to do basic troubleshootings. In the 2nd part, we will some tools which helps us to check the status of the network (older netstat and the newer ss), then we will see some usages of the netcat (nc) by creating a listener and connecting to it via the nc utility.
Uum... the LPIC1 109.3 topics are finished here but I will borrow a few more minutes of your precious time to talk about 3 more commands: dig for digging into DNS issues and then tcpdump & tcpflow to check the actual packets flowing through our computer! Hope you enjoy!
