How to Graft Apple Trees and Why

We participated in a apple tree grafting workshop hosted by the Roscommon Produce Network. We learned how to graft any variety of apple onto a rootstock of your choice. Making your own apple and other fruit trees saves you money and most importantly it enables you to propagate and preserve old and rare varieties of fruit.
