06 - Expand Your Project with External Packages - Managing Packages with npm - freeCodeCamp Tutorial

The best thing about npm is that we can import packages that others have written. Extrenal packages are added to your project in the 'dependencies' object. Create a key with the package name, giving the desired version as the value. Running 'npm install' will then download and install the packages to your project.
