Unity's New Pricing is... Awful

Unity have just announced a new pricing structure and honestly from a PR perspective I don't think they could have done worse.

First the good, free users, the Personal tier has had many of its revenue restrictions removed and is available to more users.

Now the bad, Unity are implementing a fee or tax on all new installs of Unity games, no matter when they were developed, starting January 1st, 2024.
