Defold Engine -- A Quick Hands On With King's New Game Engine

At GDC, the Defold (http://www.defold.com/) engine was released. Its a cross platform, Lua powered game engine, used internally by King to make several of their games. Yes, King. Buyer Beware.

However, the engine is quite powerful, a great choice for a cross platform 2D game as you will see in this video. It's free but closed source.
