Our honest feedback
Mixed feelings about this game. When looking for games to showcase the GODOT Game engine, we fell in love with the cute graphics from the game's screenshots. The first impressions of the game flow are amazing, as everything is very well done, at least when you start to play. Then, once playing the emotion drops quickly.
Everything is really well done, nice graphics, nice music, nice controls, but... A game is supposed to be fun because the player is able to overcome the difficulties or challenges that the games throw at the player, which in this case is very low. I think that maybe because it is still a game under development.
You try to grab some shells that will increase your score, and from the message we got at the end of the game when we "suicided"; and some hearts that will repopulate your life bar.
The maze where you play is complex or at least infinite, as we were not able to find out any exit or any direction to go. The enemies are shouting other the walls of the maze and from outside of the boundaries of the field of view, which makes somes times difficult and random the act of avoiding them. But not problem, as the game gives you enough heart to repleat your life very generously.
In the end, you get yourself thinking, Is there something else that I am not seeing in the game that I should be doing?
