Continuing with the showcase of GDEVELOP games, and in this case an educational game that has its main game mechanic on reading and the understanding of what you actually have read.

The game is the first game created by the author, It is a simple educational game to teach children about directions and increase second language learners' interest to learn English Language as well as certain special needs students such as slow learners. It is also created to increase their reading comprehension skill.

Our honest feedback

An interesting educational game focused in giving kids the ability to read and improve their learning understanding. You have to read a text and then based on its indications find your way through the game. The game has some nice graphics although it could benefit from more detailed environments that could fill with some minium live the setting. The mechanic is great, and even for an adult, remembering what you have read a couple of seconds ago, is not as easy as initially you could think.

Maybe the transition between text and game could be done in a more interactive on a more direct way, as to avoid pressing a button to leave and come into the game.

Some of the indications received were not that intuitive to follow, but maybe it is just because with so much games, our reading skills have decreased.
