Our honest feedback

Oshi's Journey caught our attention through its color palette that was really standing out in the searches that we do on itch.io or on the new games showcase from GDEVELOP 5 latest release.

The game is a puzzle platformer where you have to save your fellow balls that has lost themselves in the level. You only have one mechanic to do, jumps to the right or to the left.

Looks simple at a first thought, but as soon as you start to have more than ball, you quickly discover that the mechanic apply to all the balls and it quickly becomes a nightmare to try to overcome the level while avoiding the traps, or the enemies that can be easily spotted by their intense red color. The game is really fun to play and you cannot stop trying to replay the level to see if you can save all the balls.

It is also a very hard game, as controlling more than two balls without loosing any, is really stressing as they start to bounce themselves against the level in different directions, while one is moving forward, the other are going backwards and losing themselves, as the camera is always following the first ball.

The game was developed with GDEVELOP 5 for the BRACKEYS JAM 2021 ( which by the way is a great way to make prototypes).
