D'oh, it seems the princess has been captured by a terrible dragon, now the brave hero must save her.

Heroes Quest is a 2D platformer adventure game where a fearless hero has only one purpose in life, rescue the princess. And he will do it as many times as needed. Or will he?

This is an updated version of the game made for a game jam with the theme: Cycles.

D'oh, parece que a princesa foi capturada por um terrível dragão, agora o valente herói deve resgatá-la.

Heroes Quest é um jogo 2D plataforma de aventura, onde um destemido herói possui apenas um propósito na vida, resgatar a princesa! Ou será que não?

Este é um jogo feito em 6 dias para a Game Jaaj 6, com o tema ciclos.

Our honest feedback

The game is still under development and there so has still some aspects of it that needs some more working as to calibrate and balance it correctly.

Some of the mechanics needs to be very precise in where you perform them as to be able to have them working correctly and one pixel can make the difference between failing or succeeding.

The game punishes heavily failure as you will immediatly be sent back to the beginning of the game. Not sure if there are some checkpoints implemented later on in the level, as we try to have our gameplays to be less than 5 minutes independently of the progress that we are able to have.

The art of the game is nice, but could be in some cases improved. The music is probably to high and you have to lower it down through the system speakers as the game menu is still missing some configurations.
