FLAX ENGINE Tutorial #05 : WOLFENSTEIN 3D Retro FPS | PART II - UI & SPRITE ANIMATIONS
Game Developers
Welcome to Part 5, in our new game development series, focused on the 3D FLAX GAME ENGINE, and Second Entry in the Wolfenstein 3D game tutorial.
In this video, we are going to integrate the gun pistol and its firing animation, and we will start to detect the fire hit, as to integrate in the next episode, the enemies.
For this, we will go in depth into Flax Engine UI system, and implement our own version of a Sprite Renderer, as to be able to display and animate our different guns.
So, in the next episodes, we will try to build a working version of Wolfenstein 3D with Flax Engine.
The sprites for the guns can be downloaded from: https://game-developers.org
