FLAX ENGINE Tutorial #04 : WOLFENSTEIN 3D Retro FPS in FLAX / PART I
Game Developers
Welcome to Part 4, in our new game development series, focused on the 3D FLAX GAME ENGINE. In this video, and following some requests from our growing community, we are going to try to make a First-Person Shooter game. And, since we are dealing with a new engine pioneering some new concepts, we thought it could be a good idea to try to replicate one, that was also a pioneer almost 30 years ago, Wolfenstein 3D.
So, in the next episodes, we will try to build a working version of Wolfenstein 3D with Flax Engine.
For these we will have to look at materials, materials tiling, scene animations and triggers as to start building the ground blocks for the game.
In this video, we have had some problems with the recording, and the mouse cursor is most of the time not visible, we have tried to compensate for it with arrows and zooms on the most important points. Sorry for the inconvenience.
