Ryzen 9 3900XT editing PC build | This is a beast! All these parts were carefully researched for compatibility, longevity, performance and budget. I wanted to build a video editing rig that was somewhat future proof as well as high performance out of the box. I accomplished that goal with this system. Without overclocking I was ale to achieve above average benchmarks. In DaVinci Resolve Studio 17 I was able to render this 25 minute video at 4K .264 at an average of 90 FPS. When I compared benchmarks of Average scores both out of the box and everything overclocked to the max, this system scored about ⅓ of the way between stock settings and max overclocked settings with no overclocking at all with the exception of using XMP to run the Ram at its proper speed. This is the most satisfying computer build I have ever done. It is snappy as heck and burns through sustained multicore workloads at phenomenal speed.
