Using the Mixer Brush: Tricky but Rewarding to Use

In this video, I am suing the mixer brush tool in Adobe Photoshop.

I have not actually used this brush extensively before because I had a hard time figuring out how it works. It can be difficult to get into especially if you're still a beginner with Photoshop. As you go along and become more familiar with brushes and familiar with how Photoshop works in general, you will have an easier time getting to know this wonderful tool.

Activate the brush by pressing Shift+B. You may have to cycle through other brush tools until you see the one labeled "Mixer Brush".

Essentially, what differentiates this brush form the regular paint brush tool is that it allows you to apply color to the canvas and have that color interact with any other colors already present on the canvas. As a result, you will get an effect similar to how traditional wet mediums behave whereby the colors are mixing together as you paint along.

I have decided to make a separate video where I will detail all the features of this brush and the practical use cases they may have.
