How To Protect Circuits From DC Reverse Polarity!

As we all know, Bridge Rectifiers are used to convert AC to DC, but many are unaware that Bridge Rectifiers can also be used to prevent DC reverse polarity from destroying circuits & electronic devices. Just make sure the Bridge Rectifier you choose is rated for the load you are using. Be aware that you WILL experience a voltage drop. Using High Current Schottky diodes can minimize that drop in higher loads. Smaller loads will be just fine using a regular bridge rectifier.
