How To Make A Sound/Clap Activated Circuit

Another very good and tested circuit which will activate when a loud noise, pop, or clap is detected. Can be used to trigger many circuits(including latching). The duration that pin#3 is activated, can be adjusted with the 270K and 1uF components. Higher values = longer duration, lower values = shorter duration. Supply voltage is 5 volts DC.
