instead of watching this video you could alternatively go to google and type in "two dudes fucking 12 hour compilation" and get about the same result i could make a million more low effort "kingdom hearts is gay xD" jokes but honestly that's mostly because i don't really have any interesting personal opinions on the series. i've tried like six times throughout my life to get in to the games and something about the gameplay just doesn't do it for me. i get that people like it and all but i can't help but think that it's pretty overrated for what it is at the end of the day. so yeah, i don't really know what to talk about on this fine morning. nothing that interesting is happening in current gaming news and nothing of particular societal/cultural note is really screaming to be discussed. you know what that means, son: random topic generator time "what is the most overrated movie?" i don't really like movies - dunno if i've talked about this as of yet. they're either too short to tell a great story or too damn long for the story that they're trying to tell at which point it becomes evident that the director just wanted to jack himself off in the big screen for three hours. i despise all superhero movies pretty much universally bar none. not even because of the soy shit that is associated with that kind of culture in current year, just because i never really found them particularily good or interesting. i like the things in a medium that set it apart from other forms of storytelling: i like books with good prose, i like animated shit with good art direction, and i like films with creative cinematography + practical special effects, and in both of the latter two: i love great soundtracks. of course, the other factors of quality storytelling must apply for all, but you get what i'm saying. most movies just don't have interesting cinematography and the ones that do tend to ape it from other things. i know that i've talked before about how much i fucking adore the akki jissoji-directed episodes of ultraseven but i always come back to those as prime examples of the best science-fiction filmmaking i've ever seen. shit is so good. i know that he was inspired by artsy french films, but he didn't directly lift anything at all like that flaming homosexual hideaki anno did for evangelion. anyways, most overrated movie. all of them. all of them. every single one. i've never seen a movie in which i've finished it felt that it was truly brilliant and couldn't have been told better in any other medium. overrated /= bad albeit. i like some movies, i just think that they'd be just as good if not better if told in another medium. nothing else to say, fuck it, lightning round topic generator.
