Mock out OAuth Provider using MswJS (NextJS and Next-Auth)
Eddie Jaoude
Most apps have an OAuth provider. During development and testing we often use a real user on the provider's platform. This is not good for multiple reasons: we need to use real credentials, we can hit rate limits or consume our allowance which increase platform costs. It would be better to mock out the OAuth provider and be any user you want.
In this video we will use NextJS and Next-Auth with the GitHub OAuth provider, where we will mock out the provider using MswJS in our NodeJS environment.
