Land-Based Aircraft Forts Decisively Defeat Japanese War & Cargo Ships (Not Aircraft Carriers aka Midway Myths)
"A Ship's A Fool To Fight A Fort"

U.S. TacAir Fighter-Bombers Need Float Fuel Tanks for Long Range and NOT Rely on Jessica Lynches in Air Tankers Likely to be Fireball Exploded by Enemy A2/AD like CHICOM J-20s and Russki S400 SAMs, SU-35 VTC and SU-57 Super Maneuverable (SM) Fighters

The solution here is clear: the U.S. Army BEFORE WAR must scrimmage against itself in a force-on-force, elimination play-offs culminating in 1 "winner"--a "Super Bowl" of the brigades--all of them--no BS excuses that the light ones are fundamentally weaker than the heavier ones--this doesn't stop them from running their Light Infantry Narcissist (LINnie) mouths about how more Airborne, Ranger and Air Assault they are, does it? No more BS sports events. War Practice NOW. Ego-embarrassing failures would force out incompetent careerists and force tangible force structure and equipment changes BEFORE THOUSANDS OF MEN DIE NEEDLESSLY. Yepp. The U.S. Army lost 110, 000 thousand infantrymen in WW2--twice as many as in Korea and Vietnam later. FAR MORE THAN THE BULLSHIT LYING USMC which did NOTHING to defeat the high-technology German Nazis and less than 25% of the fighting-dying in the Pacific against the low-tech Japanese so they all need to SHUT-THE-FUCK-UP (STFU) bragging about their irrelevant Iwo Jima publicity stunt.

We have ZERO battleships today to Terrain Firepower Saturate (TFS) ahead of any beach landing gyrenes who would instead get exploded into flaming bodies and pink mists as the Canadians were at Dieppe in 1942 on the French coast 2 years earlier.

In this case LINnieism--so far TRL1 is the best depiction of it--though Scott's 2001 Blackhawk Down! screams of it constantly as tracked M113 Gavin light tanks save the tank-less, Rangers and Delta Force.

The actual "First to Fight"--is not the USMC:

"Thin Red Line" implies the difference between doing stupid in war and being smart and bold is not very distinct--but measured in red, BLOOD.
Had we been smarter, P-38s with sea-capable floats with fuel inside would have had 2, 000 mile range reach--the Japanese Home Islands could have been sea mined in 1942--transport and warships sunk all the way from beginning to Empire's end in concert with the Navy's devastating submarine anti-shipping campaign.
P-38 Seaplane Fighter-Bombers (SPFBs) could have started marauding the Japanese IMMEDIATELY by taking off and landing from watery lagoons BEFORE Army troops had to do a TRL and seize dry land airfields. WW2 in the Pacific ending in 1944--instead of a bloody year later. The Navy could have had--and should have had--twin-engined planes like the P-38 for long-range--but were too cheap to pay for them before WW2. Our dear friend, legendary aerospace designer, Dr. Paul Czysz told us a compact twin-engined, Grumman fighter out-turned the Zero from 1938 and could have given us air superiority from day 1--instead of the flaming horrors we suffered until better fighters arrived. Disgusting. What's even more horrid is the Navy and American airplane makers could not contra-rotate props like the Brits and Russians did for 2 engined planes with the compactness of 1-engined planes to operate from civilian cargo ship converted "jeep" carriers.

These same concepts can be applied to today's fighter-bombers overly dependent upon both obvious and vulnerable land bases--bloated stupid aircraft carriers and a Jane Lynch USAF underclass in ready-to-explode in-flight, air refuel tankers. Details of this in our TOP GUNS RE-LOOK video advocating a Low-Cost, 5th Generation (LC5GEN) fighter-bomber with Super Maneuverability (SM) , extreme Short-Take-Off and Landing (eSTOL) capabilities along with folding wings for MUDfighter ground mobility to not need vulnerable land bases or bloated stupid carriers:
