This is an introduction to my own Landscape Material for UE4 Landscapes.
By using this Layer Material I created, you can easily prototype landscapes in UE4, which you have exported from a Terrain Generating Application like Gaea, World Machine, World Creator, and so on.
Using the masks exported from the applications, you can quickly assign materials based on those masks, in a matter of seconds.
It retains the paint layers as well. So, if you need to paint different materials in different areas, you can.
There is built in variation for ALL textures, to help eliminate tiling. Camera based texture scaling and falloff is also automatic for all materials but can be controlled independently for each material to provide as much creative freedom as possible.
This is still in the works so things may change. However, if you are willing to purchase this in support for continued efforts to make a great Landscape Auto Material with Built in Mask controls, please do so! I will post a link to the item when I have it uploaded to the marketplace.
All materials are triplanar projected as well.
