How to Program a Chevrolet Tahoe Key Fob (GMT900) GM Truck

If you have a 2007-2014 GMT900 based truck you'll likely be able to skip the expensive OEM key and get a replacement key fob for less than $20 and program it for free. However, some vehicles from 2011 and up need the dealer tool to reprogram.
