How to Shoot Xrays with iPhone! Works great! Tips and Tricks!
DevHackMod
When you need to digitally transfer xrays or negatives quickly, here is how to do it with an iPhone 5c and a light-box (fluorescent lamps). First, you will need to make sure you are far enough away from the xray to avoid blur. You will then "zoom in" by double-pinching to about mid-way on the zoom slider and then move your phone to try and fill the frame. Second, make sure you are "mono" mode since you don't need color. Third, press on the screen to activate the yellow box AE/AF Lock. This will remove the horizontal "bands" that form and optimize your focus. You can get a nice shot to forward to your doctor! No more excuses for blurry, dark, striped images!
