Blackberry Battery Canon Camera Ring Light Hack

Make your own ring-light for macro photography using a cheap LED ring light designed to be powered by your laptop USB. The LED ring fits a compact camera like Canon Powershot A3400IS perfectly, and other compact cameras. Power supplied by a Blackberry D-X1 battery from my old phone which is light and small. Wired so that I can still charge the battery in my phone without removing it, LED light lasts months on a single charge! Camera is about $120, LED ring about $5, wiring up to my old Blackberry battery to enable charging while in the phone, priceless.
