How to send Ethereum from Gemini to a Metamask wallet. Send any crypto from an exchange to a wallet. First make sure your Ethereum is available for withdrawal, normally after buying Ethereum on most exchanges, you may have to wait until your funds clear before sending it to a software or hardware wallet. Normally on Gemini it takes around 24 - 48 hours for the funds to clear before withdrawing or moving it to a wallet. In this case I'm using the Metamask wallet. Once it clears on Gemini, you can click on Transfer, then click on Withdraw from Gemini link, then select Currency, scroll down the pulldown menu and select ETH or the currency you wish to send, then Select Destination, copy and paste your Metamask wallet address or any other wallet address there, then click on Continue button, then you will enter the amount or click on MAX amount button you wish to send, then click the Continue button, then to Complete Withdraw, you can review what will be your transaction the click on Request Withdrawal, then you will need to confirm this request on Enter Your Authentication Code to Continue, this is a 7 digit code that will be text to your phone (please note this is a one time code) input that code into the box and click Submit button. That is it. Now depending on how busy the blockchain it can take a few minutes. Please be patient. On Metamask, I click on the three dots on your upper right and it will pull down a menu and you can click on View on Etherscan link to check your transfer status. In most cases it can take 5 to 10 minutes before it will show up on your Metamask wallet. It hope this video helped you.
