I Have An Idea! Meetup/Event dApp? Bringing Creation Into The Real World - D00k13 Digest #210

What up my Steemians, welcome to the @D00k13 Digest, the other day I sat down to write about how the people I have brought to Steem are inactive and ended up with an idea for a potential meetup dApp. I said once already this year I am looking for ways to bring my passion for creation into my real life and I cannot see a better way of doing so then by meeting some of the local Steemians. It is seemingly hard to track people down, so many niche groups, thus my thoughts on a meetup/event dApp on chain. This is far from a complete idea but I do feel the potential usecase is there, something like facebook events but less tracking of your location constantly. I know I would use it, try start regular meetups, make it a word of mouth campaign when we get together to go out and raise awareness for the platform and what we are all trying to do.
Getting together in the real world I believe could make all the difference moving forward, helping to onboard and support those you can help in a very personal way! All I know is I would love to meet some of you guys and girls and a dApp would make the arranging of an event or meetup that much simpler!
Do you see a potential usecase? Do you have the means to make it happen? Is there a project already out there? Let’s make this a reality!
