Well, the primary purpose of scalability is to increase transaction speed to achieve quicker finality and transaction throughput basically translating to high transactions per second while maintaining decentralization and security.

And with the sharding phases deployed for the ultimate launch of eth 2.0, I do think that between it’s existing network effect, current # of developers, and it’s existing infrastructure…avax has a pretty steep up-hill battle.

This means only good things for both ethereum users, developers and investors - but doesn't necessarily spell out doom for Avalanche.
