Install and Review of FreeBSD 13.0
DJ Ware
In this episode of the CyberGizmo I am taking an in depth look at FreeBSD 13.0 Stable. Talking about some the of the major changes to the release of this UNIX-like operating system as well as looking at what one of the features CuSeeMe which was dropped from the release. CuSeeMe was the first video conferencing software system which became the hallmark of what Skype, Jitsi and Zoom would like like. I also do an installation of the the operating system, and run into a few problems with getting the mouse recognized in Gnome. I also ran into an issue with the Terminal application where the font was spaced too far, a common problem back in the old days with Linux and show you a way to fix both problems.
14:20 is wrong you want the dvd version of the iso if you are planning to install FreeBSD, not disk1 as stated in the video
