Here I show how to set a static IP on Ubuntu 22.04 (among other distro's using netplan).
and here are the commands lsb_release -a ip link show sudo nano /etc/netplan/01-network-manager-all.yaml sudo netplan apply ip address show
and the contents of the file (for example) network: version: 2 renderer: networkd ethernets: enp3s0: addresses: - 192.168.122.150/24 nameservers: addresses: [192.168.122.1, 1.1.1.1] routes: - to: default via: 192.168.122.1
