#33 - Ubuntu Focal Fossa 20.04 set a Static IP with netplan

Here I show how to set a static IP on Ubuntu 20.04 (among other distro's).

and here are the commands ip link show sudo nano /etc/netplan/01-network-manager-all.yaml sudo netplan apply ip address show

and the contents of the file (for example) network: version: 2 ethernets: enp0s3: dhcp4: false addresses: [192.168.1.10/24] gateway4: 192.168.1.1 nameservers: addresses: [192.168.1.1]
