Taking Smart Notes in Roam

In this video I show you how to take smart notes in Roam.

One of the core tenets of how I suggest you use [[Roam]] contradicts what many people will tell you about note taking: "don't just highlight or underline". That approach is totally correct when you're leaving the highlights in place - a highlighted paragraph in a book doesn't do you any good if you don't remember it's there. And in a system that mimics a real-world slip-box, this is also not useful. But Roam is fundamentally different. Because Roam collects indirect backlinks, the more content you can get into Roam, the better.
