There are many ways on how to build a software developer portfolio, but not all projects are the same.

Regardless if you are a self taught developer or went to coding boot camp, you need to have a worthy project to put into your portfolio.

So if you want to get hired, your project has to be equivalent to a college degree.

Just because you spent a weekend building something, it doesn't mean that it will be enough. I made this mistake before.

Simple apps just won't cut it.

In this video, I review my portfolio project that I am currently building. All the tech used, and why I am not creating a backend from scratch and using Strapi CMS.
