Whenever you start learning something new, it is very common to doubt ourselves. We begin asking questions such as is coding for me, should I quit coding, or do you have to be smart to code.
Here is the truth, coding is not for everyone. But that is not the main issue.
I think most people quit too early and never get to the point where they can make that decision.
So I would like to encourage you to give it a try and stick with it just a little bit more.
With that being said, if you don't enjoy it in the first place, and feel that it is the best way for you to resolve money issues than it is not for you.
Learning to program is hard, and even when you get your first job, you have to continue to study daily to improve. Otherwise, you won't last.
But if you are motivated, and if it is something that you are passionate about, then it is definitely possible to switch careers in your early or late thirties as a self taught web developer.
Let me know in the comments if you ever felt discouraged when learning to code?
