How to make money as web developer when you are still learning to code? Answering this question became a must for me.

For those who don't know, I decided to switch careers and pursue web development via learning Html, CSS, Javascript, and React.

The only problem was, I had no college degree and no portfolio. As you can tell, this is not enough to even get an interview. But we all have to start somewhere when learning to program.

But I have had experience in setting up Wordpress sites, and with basic HTML and CSS knowledge, you can customize those sites to fit 80% of small business needs out there.

So I would offer that you consider making money with Wordpress as an option, especially if you want to start making money much sooner then later.

These skills are easy to learn and apply. Now you have a marketable skill that can start bringing you some part-time income while you are still learning.

The best part you can continue to learn everything else that you have been doing towards getting a job as a Software Engineer or Web Developer eventually.

If you are still not sold, at least use Wordpress to create a nice and professional-looking web site to show your portfolio to potential employers.
