No one ever wants to tell you why coding is so hard, especially when they want to sell you something.

So if you want to teach yourself programming, beware of the hype that you can find on YouTube.

As a self taught programmer, my journey has been difficult. I started to learn to code seriously in my mid-thirties and finally was able to get a job at 39.

One of the most discouraging things to see on YouTube all "How I learned to code in 3 months." It makes you feel like you are not smart enough.

The truth is that it takes time, so don't give up, and continue to learn.
