Do you need to learn data structures and algorithms when learning to code as a self-taught web developer?
Or is there something else?
In my opinion, to get a job as a software engineer, you have to have the ability to build projects.
At the end of the day, your customer just cares about getting the final result rather than which computer science program you graduated from or what boot camp you went to.
With that being said, once you can build websites and apps. Then you should invest time to learn basic computer science concepts along with algorithms and data structures.
It will help you to become a better programmer and is also a lot of fun.
Anyway, thanks for watching, and let me know in the comments below your thoughts what should you do first?
