The truth about becoming a web developer is that its hard.
Maybe you can become a web developer in three months, but that's not how I did it.
I don't want to discourage you. I want to be honest with you about setting realistic expectations about your outcome.
When things don't work out the way you want, you will get discouraged and frustrated.
With that out of the way, you can accomplish a lot in your first three months of learning to code.
By developing good study habits, being organized and sticking to a schedule, you will make progress.
So How do I get into Web development?
Here is what I recommend if you want to learn to code fast.
Invest in your self. Even though you can learn a lot from watching youtube, you should spend some money and invest in your education.
By giving up something of value that is important, you are committing to sticking to your plan.
So here is my recommendation for the next three months.
You should invest $35 buck on http://udemy.com ( wait for a sale ) and buy three courses.
There are a lot of great courses. I will make a video later about the ones I recommend.
You need to find courses that were made this year and have lots of 4 and a half star reviews.
Find an HTML and CSS course. Find a Javascript course. Find a React course In the first two months, focus on completing the three courses. Spend the third month building a project based on what you have learned.
After three months, you should have a basic understanding of what is web development and where to go next.
Before I go, here is a common mistake most beginner web development students make.
They buy too many courses and become what I call course collectors. The answer is not doing a lot of courses but learning and building projects from scratch and not a tutorial.
