SurvivalJS - Episode 2 - a TODO App - initial ui and functionality

In the second episode we will create a TODO app, again with just a text editor and a browser. Building on top of some of the things we did in Episode 1.

In the current state of Web Development we're living in a world with a lot of frameworks, libraries, linters, IDE's, build pipelines, ci/cd ...

No wonder why we have phenomenons like JavaScript fatigue.

We're so dependent on the frameworks we use and the development environments we've set up. What if we didn't have all these? What if just had a text editor and a browser?

Just like in the Survivor television series where people are left to fend themselves against the elements with just rudimentary tools ...

In this SurvivorJS series we'll explore how to:

• start a project from scratch with a text editor and a browser
• build our own rudimentary dev tools
• and ultimately explore the question "can we create a modern app ourselves without the crutches that are readily available to us?"
