Work Day on the Farm: Our Honey Bees Work the Sweet Corn
IBRiY Restoration Farm
We planted corn several weeks ago. Now, it's six feet tall, has its flower tops, and is starting to grow ears. We woke up this morning to find the bees all a-buzz, harvesting pollen from the corn tops. We wanted to share their amazing work with y'all. Oh, the wonder and the miracle of the bees!!
A huge miracle for me is that we fell in love with bees. Fall in love with the bees with us. Bravery and working with bees goes hand in hand. So, we chose the story of bravery music. Be strong and of great courage! The bees work with us and for us! And we provide them a place to live and to be happy and well-fed.
Our farm is a work in progress for a self-sustainable, self-regenerative farm with organic permaculture/biodynamic farming practices. We also preserve two heritage breeds of cattle on our farm (Hawaii Belted Cows Restoration Farm on Facebook-- three baby calves due in August, two in February), as well as friendly honey bees.
If you would like to donate to our restoration farm here, we greatly appreciate and need the help. Mahalo/thank you!! paypal.me/12tribesrestore
