Couldn't See The Forest for the Trees! Future Macadamia Commodity was HIDING on our Restoration Farm
IBRiY Restoration Farm
When we purchased our farm, it was so thick with guinea grass, we couldn't even walk or drive onto the farm, more than a few feet. But, what we could see that was around the edge of the property were macadamia nut trees. We were told there macadamia trees were growing on the property. And, what we could see from the outside edge looked to affirm that statement. We have been on the property, taking dominion of it a little bit at a time, for eleven months. During this time, the grass has been cut away from most of the trees they had previously choked. And, macadamia nuts are this year growing!!
Our farm is a work in progress for a self-sustainable, self-regenerative farm with organic permaculture/biodynamic farming practices. We also preserve two heritage breeds of cattle on our farm (Hawaii Belted Cows Restoration Farm on Facebook-- three baby calves due in August, two in February), as well as friendly honey bees. If you would like to donate to our restoration farm, we greatly appreciate and need the help. Mahalo/thank you!! paypal.me/12tribesrestore ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A5VOKjQ3EOg
