This is part 3 of the Switching to OpenSUSE 10 Day Challenge Series. In this video, I go over all the downsides and differences I've run into while being on OpenSUSE.

Differences than other distributions: -Limited Software Repositories by default -Btfs by default - Some apps don't like this and auto-partitioning is crazy -RPM based packages - Most Linux desktop users prefer DEB. -Zypper terminal package installer -Less popular so not as many guides online -Bulky - Need a good computer - Older, slower hardware doesn't do well
