Mods Cracks and Emulators: The importance of Mods

Mods are very special to me, but sadly it seems as if less emphasis on modding is put in many games nowadays. Valve and Bethesda give us many tools to work with their engines, but the attitudes of those companies, is less than favourable. Most companies also rely on DRM for their games, hindering the players to play their games out of the box.

Modding ensures more hours spent on your favourite games, but also the preservation of games. Without piracy, cracking and emulation scenes, we might lose games that were released in the past forever.
