Minecraft Dungeons is an action RPG[1][2] dungeon crawler[3] based on the style of Minecraft, co-developed by Mojang Studios and Double Eleven and published by Xbox Game Studios. It was released for Windows, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch on May 26, 2020. The game received lukewarm reviews from critics; many deemed the game fun and charming, with general praise directed at its visuals and music. However, its simple gameplay polarized critics, and its short story and lack of depth were met with derision.
