DOS on modern systems #DOScember #DOScember2021
Franco Bugnano
In this video I'm talking about the history of DOS, from QDOS to MS-DOS, without forgetting DR-DOS from Digital Reaearch, and how it was needed after the failure of CP/M, and also about FreeDOS. After a bit of history, we will se the methods that we can use to run DOS on modern PCs that run Linux, everything from virtualization (virt-manager/KVM/QEMU or VirtualBox), to DOS emulators like DosBox, to complete vintage PC emulators like PCem and 86Box, and see which method is the best for a complete DOS experience and why.
