Unboxing our Trade-in Laptops - Surprising Finds!

Bob showcases some trade-ins that were received this week. He shows us some Panasonic Toughbook CF-73s, CF-74s, CF25s, CF27s, and CF-52s. Check out the 119th Episode of the Rugged Rundown to learn more about this time capsule of a shipment.

In this video, Bob shows us how he gets equipment sent in that people no longer want or that serves as a trade-in. The first unit in this batch is the Panasonic Toughbook CF-73, about 20 years old. It ran with Windows XP and was in decent shape for being 20 years old. We also received a Toughbook CF-74. This unit has to be at least 15 years old and is the one that came out after the CF-73. There ended up being a few CF-74 throughout the entire batch. The CF-74 ran on Windows Vista and came with an old police antenna. Come out of this batch in third is the Panasonic CF-25. This rugged laptop came out running Windows 95 and came out with a touch screen 25 years ago. Consider the CF-25 the great great great grandfather of the CF-31. Next in the trade-in batch is the Panasonic CF-27; they were filthy but well-used. Last but not least, Bob got in a few Toughbook CF-52s. These units came in with i5s and ran Windows 7, meaning they were more than likely produced later in the production span of the CF-52s.
